Entertainment Rights has signed deals with YouTube, Joost and Babelgum which will see content such as He-Man and She-Ra available on the platforms. The deal will see Entertainment Rights, which owns a host of children's programmes and characters, provide a selection of programmes including Felix the Cat and Casper the Friendly Ghost through all three digital platforms. The deal with YouTube will see the launch of a new free-to-view Retro Heroes will also be set up on internet TV platforms Babelgum and Joost and will feature long form content from ER's catalogue. Laura Turner Laing, VP of global digital media & music at Entertainment Rights, said, "Entertainment Rights wants to be where the audience is and online video enables the company to exploit its brands which have strong retro appeal." |
